There's literally everything tangled together; heavy complex guitars, versatile multivocals, alien race type of drumming, spirals of sound collages twirling around, ugliness, beauty, sonical hell and heaven. Can't even name a favorite track. I bet this is how it feels when you cross the event horizon.

baudelagon Peut-être le langage des dieux, tout simplement? Mais tout cela est bien désarçonnant. Car que nous voilà parfois malmené par des ruptures et des distorsions de toutes sortes. Intrinsèquement, cela n'enlève rien à la beauté de l'ensemble, mais que d'efforts et d'acharnement nous demandez-vous ici? Rien de moins que d'abandonner toute volonté et de nous jeter dans le vide creusé dans la chair sonore de vos compositions. Mental routinier et peu aventureux s'abstenir.

Delving into this maelström of an album is not easy. Being so unique, i feel like the biggest strength of Nämïdäë is also what makes it so hard to apprehend fully : because it feels like it's part of one entity, this album and Rëvëürt are like two bodies melting into one continuous experience. I'm really curious to see how the third album will expand on those two first "chapters", if a beginning or an end even exist in the realm of this incredible music. Favorite track: Därkäë.
